On all New Generation V22 and V21 VELUX roof windows there is usually pre-installed brackets connected to the window, meaning you can continue to use these.
If there are no brackets fixed to your window, then do not worry as you can order those on our website. We only send out mounting brackets with selected blinds (RG, DKU, RHU, PAU).
When we refer to ‘Older Generation’ roof windows we mean windows with product codes that do not include the letter ‘K’ for example GGL M04 3070 and windows with only numbers in the size reference (i.e., GGL 304 or GGL 4)
The blind should just click into place if you have purchased a VELUX branded blind, or alternatively, you may need to use one of the screws to the fix the blind into place if you have opted for either the VELUX Basic Blackout Blind or Itzala branded blinds.
Please note, if you have the following bracket, this must be removed before installing the blind, as the blind will no longer be compatible with this type of bracket:
