Please note, the VELUX Active Kit (KIX 300) is currently compatible with Google Assistant, IOS and smart home systems based on Somfy io-homecontrol® only. Unfortunately, Alexa is not a platform which the kit is compatible with just now.
The VELUX Active App must be downloaded beforehand to run and benefit from this system. You can download this application from your app store by searching for ‘VELUX ACTIVE’
The VELUX Active Kit is extremely user friendly and easy to set up by the end user however, we wanted to share some frequently asked questions and answers that our customers occasionally ask us when it comes to this product –
Q: How many products can be controlled by VELUX Active with NETATMO or VELUX App Control?
A: VELUX Active and VELUX App Control can control up to 200 products. Apple HomeKit supports up to 100 products.
Q: Can I open my windows if it is raining?
A: Yes, with the app it is possible to overrule the rain sensor protection temporarily. Please note, this is not possible for older motorised windows and for flat-roof windows.
