Each VELUX product has its own individual product code, so when you receive your new product from us, it is likely this will be different from the code listed on your roof window.
Combinations like GGL, GPL, GGU, etc. are window types and numbers or number-letter combinations like 1, 2, C04, MK04 are window sizes.
If you are struggling to locate your roof window code, you can check here for further assistance.
The blind codes are a bit different. They consist of four parts. Below are some helpful examples of how to break down the product code -
example: DKL MK04 0705S.
DKL is the type of the blind (DKL means original VELUX blackout roller blind)
MK04 is the size of the blind
0705 is the code of the colour (0705 is grey)
S is the code of the frame colour (silver in this case) If the blind you’ve chosen gives you the option to choose the colour of frame you may also see WL at the end of the product code too. This means white line.
So, you may receive a DKL, FHC, a DBL or a PAR blind, but that just means the blind type/style. Every one of these could be compatible with your window type.
If you enter your window type and window size correctly while ordering, the blind should fit your window perfectly.
